WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME?
The purpose of Nordic leadership is to infuse leadership methods, technics and everyday business practices into domestic companies' leadership methods. The proposed system is not only a set of instructions but an individual development process that is based on individual leadership competencies of the participants. By the end of the process, we help participants to acquire a leadership behaviour close to the Nordic approach but applicable to the particular national circumstances. The process involves the FACET5 individual competency rating and measuring system and the Situational Leadership® as well.
WHY IS IT JUSTIFIED, WHAT IS NEW ABOUT NORDIC?
The Nordic (Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish) business leadership offers a significantly more prominent role to the practical and human part of leadership than the traditional leadership approach of the domestic business leadership in Hungary. The difference can be demonstrated, first of all, in masculine business leadership features like assertive leadership styles, measuring success exclusively by material goods, self-centredness, considering force as the base symbol of leadership, undue prominence of individual sense of initiative. There is also a large disparity between the Hungarian and the Nordic approach concerning the way our leaders relate to the avoidance of precarious situations. WHAT DOES THE PARTICIPANT GET OUT OF THE PROGRAMME?
After acquiring the methods of the Nordic Programme, leaders will be able to create a successful, up-to-date leader-oriented leadership in the business world, the appropriate leadership style, to assess and develop the competencies needed, and ultimately to show a significant increase of their acceptance, besides their leadership efficiency.
